Conditions of Sale
1). When ordering a reed from me, please let me know the maker, key and the age of the chanter you want reeded. Also, please let me know if there has been any structural modification made to the chanter. If a chanter has been modified or altered in any way, I cannot assume guarantee that the reed will work well or in tune. I prefer not to work on altered chanters, but that is dependant on the modification and who modified it.
2). I refuse to work on bagpipes manufactured in Pakistan, a.k.a. "Pakistani Pipes". With apologies to the craftspeople who make these instruments, they are nearly impossible to fit a working reed to. The only exception I would make in this instance are the chanters that have been re-worked by Tim Britton, and then I reserve the right to refuse service if I deem the instrument unsuitable.
3). I prefer payment to be in the form of personal check or money order. Currently I am not set up to receive Pay Pal, but this will be subject to change somewhere down the road.
